Celsus Travel Policies for Turkey Tours and Services
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Celsus Travel Turizm Tas. Ins. Eml. Teks. Ilt. Kir. Tem. Guv. Hed. E. Paz. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti., hereby referred to as “Celsus Travel”, is a licensed Travel Agent based in Kusadasi Turkey, lic. no. A5617. Celsus Travel is not liable for any loss or damage of possessions, personal injury or death. The company is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay, inconvenience caused by force majeure or other events such as strikes, wars, acts of terrorism, floods, severe weather, acts of god, traffic delays, or any other circumstances which are beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify and integrate these terms and conditions at our discretion. All offers about the travel services are conducted in English only.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
You are required to pay a deposit for your booking to be confirmed. Please see the deposit rates of Celsus Travel services on below.
Scheduled Turkey Tour Packages ;
You are required to pay deposit of 179 US$ for your booking to be confirmed. The The balance should be paid by clients before 36 days of departure date. If your booking is made within 36 days of the departure date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
Private & Customized Turkey Tour Packages / City Tour (Short Break) Packages ;
You are required to pay deposit of 30% for your booking to be confirmed. The balance should be paid by clients before 36 days of departure date. If your booking is made within 36 days of the departure date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
Day Tours & Shore Excursions ;
You are required to pay deposit of 30% for your booking to be confirmed. The final payment can be with credit card or cash to guide on tour date.
PRICES & CURRENCIES
Our prices are subject to variable and seasonal pricing, both of which are standard practice within the travel industry. This means our trip prices may vary at any time in accordance with demand, market conditions and availability.
Celsus Travel offers are in US$. If you request different currencies, Celsus Travel calculate it again with your curreny and apply the rates of TCMB -- www.tcmb.gov.tr (The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey)
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend travel insurance is arranged for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances or those beyond your control. We recommend medical and personal insurance to cover medical expenses and/or loss of baggage, cash or personal belongings, or for any unexpected occurrences.
CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELLER
If you cancel some or all portions of your booking cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip:
Scheduled Turkey Tour Packages / Private & Customized Turkey Tour Packages / City Tour (Short Break) Packages ;
• 36 days or more prior to departure, we will refund 100%
• between 25 and 35 days prior to departure, we will retain the deposit.
• 24 days or less prior to departure, there will not be any refund.
Day Tours & Shore Excursions ;
• 36 days or more prior to departure, we will refund 100%
• If your cruise ship/plane do not arrive to the port/airport, Celsus Travel is agreed 50% refund of your payments.
• If you cancel your day tour or shore excursion on meeting point, there is no any refund.
All cancellations required in writing.
CANCELLATION BY THE CELSUS TRAVEL
Celsus Travel may cancel a trip at any time up to 36 days before departure. Celsus Travel may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If Celsus Travel cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or alternatively receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights. Please note that different cancellation conditions may apply to some styles of trips, your booking consultant will advise if differences apply.
