Description

Meet your professionally trained guide and take a drive in a deluxe Motorcoach to Achilleion. Upon arrival, leave your motorcoach and follow your guide to visit the famous Achilleion Palace, which was constructed in 1892 for the Empress Elisabeth of Austria. This ill-fated Empress obsessed by the Greek hero, Achilles, commissioned a statue of Achilles “Dying”. In 1907, the Palace was bought by Kaiser William II of Germany, who erected a contrasting statue, of Achilles “Triumphant”. Today, both statues are still standing in the gardens. Continue your sightseeing tour through this beautiful and luscious island, driving past the Kaiser’s Bridge to view, from a distance, the convent of Vlachernae the Mouse Island, the landmark of Corfu and Kanoni. A short photo stop will be made in order to take some pictures. On your way back to the port, stop in Corfu Town and visit on foot, the St. Spyridon Church, the patron saint of Corfu, or for those who would like, stroll through the numerous narrow balconied streets. Afterwards, return directly back to the ship.

Discounts & Supplements

Prices are per person and the entrance fee cost is excluded. We will inform you about the cost of entrance fees while response your booking request.
A minimum of 2 pax per booking is required. If you are solo traveller, We could charge 2 people price.
There is 50% children discount for ages between 04-12. We do not charge for ages between 00-04.
The tour language is English. You may ask to have another languages speaking guides which will depend on availibility. It is charged extra 90,00 US$ per day for the other languages guided.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 3 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is full refund of your payment.
If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is no refund.
If cruise ship cancel the stop in Corfu port, there is full refund of your payment.
