Description

Meet your professionally trained guide and take a short drive to Ancient Olmpia. Enter the famous archeological site of Olympia and marvel at the Temple of Zeus, which once housed the Golden and Ivory statue of Zeus (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World) and the original Stadium and Bouleuterion, unique in history, where once competitors swore an oath to confirm to the rules. After this life time experience embark your coach in order to reach the 4 star hotel “Olympion Asty” on the top of the hill of the modern town of Olympia. Enjoy the breathtaking view to the fertile valley. Let your glance travel until the sea where your ship is anchored. In this beautiful natural scenery a 3 course meal** will be served by the swimming pool located on the edge of the hill and the hotel. After your delicious meal embark your bus again and drive back to Ancient Olympia. Follow your guide and walk a short distance in order to visit the world famous Archeological Museum of Olympia where you can admire, amongst many priceless exhibits, the marble statues of the Temple of Zeus and the unique statue of Hermes, carved by the ancient Greek sculptor Praxiteles. Thereinafter visit the recently inaugurated, Archaeological Museum of Ancient Olympic Games. Afterwards, enjoy a short stop at the town of Olympia where free time will be offered before returning back to the vehicle and the ship.

Discounts & Supplements

Prices are per person and the entrance fee cost is excluded. We will inform you about the cost of entrance fees while response your booking request.
A minimum of 2 pax per booking is required. If you are solo traveller, We could charge 2 people price.
There is 50% children discount for ages between 04-12. We do not charge for ages between 00-04.
The tour language is English. You may ask to have another languages speaking guides which will depend on availibility. It is charged extra 90,00 US$ per day for the other languages guided.

How Can I Book This Tour ?

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 3 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is full refund of your payment.
If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is no refund.
If cruise ship cancel the stop in Katakolo port, there is full refund of your payment.
