Tour Description : Meet your professionally trained guide and take a drive in a deluxe Motorcoach to Achilleion. Upon arrival, leave your motorcoach and follow your guide to visit the famous Achilleion Palace, which was constructed in 1892 for the Empress Elisabeth of Austria. This ill-fated Empress obsessed by the Greek hero, Achilles, commissioned a statue of Achilles “Dying”. In 1907, the Palace was bought by Kaiser William II of Germany, who erected a contrasting statue, of Achilles “Triumphant”. Today, both statues are still standing in the gardens. Continue your sightseeing tour through this beautiful and luscious island, driving past the Kaiser’s Bridge to view, from a distance, the convent of Vlachernae the Mouse Island, the landmark of Corfu and Kanoni. A short photo stop will be made in order to take some pictures. On your way back to the port, stop in Corfu Town and visit on foot, the St. Spyridon Church, the patron saint of Corfu, or for those who would like, stroll through the numerous narrow balconied streets. Afterwards, return directly back to the ship.

  • Extra-charge on Sundays and public holidays: 138,00 US$ for half-day excursions / 206,00 US$ for full-day excursions (total: driver and guide).
  • Special attention on Mondays: Venues may be closed or open later. To be verified upon request.
Payment Policy ;
  • We request 30% deposit for certain reservation and this payment should be while booking of tour plan.
  • The balance of your tour payment is due 10 days prior to the excursion date. If the excursion you select begins within 10 days of booking, final payment is due at that time. Failure to receive the remainder of your excursion balance by the due date will be considered a cancellation.
