I came to Ephesus several years ago and took the ship's tour, it was VERY expensive and had over 30 people; I did not enjoy the experience.I wanted my return visit to be more satisfactory and ventured online to discover Celcus Tours, what a difference! it is a small company with individual service, just what I wanted. The staff is well educated, clean and personable. My guide, Semih Tazegul, spoke excellent English and I was surprised regarding his enthusiasm and knowledge of the area and its history. I finally got to see the Terrace Houses and then explored the Ephesus Museum, which is a "must see" after touring the ancient city. If you have the opportunity, come to Turkey and experience the history and culture. It is safe and you will not regret your time there.
