Tour Description : Depart the port of Corfu with direction Achillion Palace. Upon arrival, leave your motorcoach and follow your guide to visit the famous Palace, which was constructed in 1892 for the Empress Elisabeth of Austria. This ill-fated Empress obsessed by the Greek hero, Achilles, commissioned a statue of Achilles “Dying”. In 1907, the Palace was bought by Kaiser William II of Germany, who erected a contrasting statue, of Achilles “Triumphant”. Today, both statues are still standing in the gardens. As you drive inland, see the traditional villages before arriving at beautiful Palaeokastritsa where you will visit the 13th Century Monastery of the Virgin Mary, located on top of a hill. From here, drive through Bella Vista where time for pictures of the panoramic view will be offered. There you will enjoy a delicious 3courses meal in selected taverna. Leave Bella Vista and drive to the traditional village of Makrades. There a stop of ½ hour will be offered. On your way back to the port, stop in Corfu Town and visit on foot as well as the St. Spyridon Church, the patron saint of Corfu, or for those who would like, stroll through the numerous narrow balconied streets. After a pleasant day on the island of Corfu, return back to the ship.

Payment Policy ;
  • We request 30% deposit for certain reservation and this payment should be while booking of tour plan.
  • The balance of your tour payment is due 10 days prior to the excursion date. If the excursion you select begins within 10 days of booking, final payment is due at that time. Failure to receive the remainder of your excursion balance by the due date will be considered a cancellation.
