Explore the Turkey on our small group tours.
Small group journeys means unlocking the secrets of a destination. For some companies, the term 'small group' means sharing a bus with 45 other people. Not us. Our average group size is just 12 people and there'll never be more than 20.
Small groups mean more time spent with your experienced local leader who knows the region inside out. We promise to share our knowledge and expertise with you, and ensure you come home with stories you will tell for years to come. Small groups also help us reduce our physical, environmental and cultural impact on the places we visit, ensuring the same immersion for future travellers.
Every year we take hundreds of travellers to the Turkey. And what better place to meet other like-minded travellers than on a small group journey. And if, like many of our travellers, you’re travelling solo and prefer to have your own room, we can arrange this on the majority of trips (at a little extra cost). Let us know you’d like your own room when you book.
If our programmes not suitable for you or need more information please feel free to contact us.
Turkey is a vast country that is sandwiched – both politically and geographically – between East and West, bordered by Greece and Bulgaria in the northwest, Iran, Armenia, Georgia to the East and Iraq and Syria to the Southeast. Turkey is as big as NSW with 3% of its land is in Europe and 97% in Asia.
The two continents of Turkey are div ided by the Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara, and the Dardanelles in the Northwest of the county. To the North lies the Black Sea, to the South the Mediterranean, and to the West the Aegean. Altogether there is a total of approximately 8,000 km of coastline, varying from the inhospitable damp, mountainous Black Sea Coast to the thriving Mediterranean resorts, with yachts, sub - tropical gardens and discos. 80% of Turkey is 500m (1,640 ft) or more above sea level.
