Tour Description : Meet your professionally trained guide and depart from the port of Katakolon for a pleasant 20-minute drive through the picturesque countryside, where the sun-dappled vineyards and abundant fruit trees paint a picture of southern Greece taken straight from the imagination of poets. This tiny village is home to a beautiful stone mansion, acres of vineyards and the winery of the Mercouri family, founded in 1860 by Theodore Mercouris and operated as a winery and distillery. The current owners, the Kanellopoulos family, will welcome you before seeing you off on a walking tour estate, where you will be able to experience the serenity of this oasis of rural tranquility. Points of interest include the cellar, the olive press and the traditional family museum. The tour continues towards the nearby vineyards, the forest and finally the beach, which affords a spectacular view of the island of Zakynthos. You shall then return to the main buildings, and you will have the opportunity to relax under the protective canopy of the beautiful pine trees and try a drop or two of the local wines. Return journey towards the ship.

  • Extra-charge on Sundays and public holidays: 138,00 US$ for half-day excursions / 206,00 US$ for full-day excursions (total: driver and guide).

Payment Policy ;
  • We request 30% deposit for certain reservation and this payment should be while booking of tour plan.
  • The balance of your tour payment is due 10 days prior to the excursion date. If the excursion you select begins within 10 days of booking, final payment is due at that time. Failure to receive the remainder of your excursion balance by the due date will be considered a cancellation.
