Description

You will be met at Trabzon Port by your professionally trained guide and drive to St. Sophia Museum which was built as a church by the Commenos family on the 13th century, however it was converted to a mosque on the 16th century and then become a museum in 1957. Then we will head to Gulbahar Hatun Mosque, built by Selim I Yavuz for his mother and it is still on use as a mosque. Then you will continue on to the Yeni Cuma Cami, the “New Friday Mosque”. This building, actually older than the Gulbahar Mosque, was originally the Christian Church of Eugenios, which burned down in 1340. A new cruciform church was built on the same spot and later converted into a mosque after the Ottoman conquest. The building is adorned with some of the world’s finest examples of Ottoman calligraphy art. Our last stop on his excursion is Boztepe Hill which is a 740 feet hill located on the south of the town. Where the temple of Mithiras once stood, there are four sacred fountains left now and has a spectecular view of the historic core of Trabzon. Afterwards you drive back to port of Trabzon.

Discounts & Supplements

Prices are per person and there is no hidden cost.
A minimum of 2 pax per booking is required. If you are solo traveller, We could charge 2 people price.
There is 50% children discount for ages between 06-09. We do not charge for ages between 00-05.
The tour language is English. You may ask to have another languages speaking guides which will depend on availibility. It is charged extra 45,00 US$ per day for the other languages guided.

How Can I Book This Tour ?

We will response your request within 12 hours and send you an official booking & credit card authorization form for your deposit (15%) payment.
Your tour will be confirmed by Celsus Travel after you paid deposit of your tour amount and we will send your confirmation document / vouchers.

Payment Policy

We request min 15% deposit for certain reservation and this payment should be while booking of tour plan.
The payment of balance can be cash to guide or can be with credit card at the end of tour.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 3 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is full refund of your payment.
If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is no refund.
If cruise ship cancel the stop in Trabzon port, there is full refund of your payment.
